I'm starting school in a week and thought I'd do a list of reasons why I'm excited, because I know some people aren't, so maybe you'll get excited. And, I also do have reasons to be sad, but I'm not going to dwell on them.
1) Back-to-School shopping
I think fall and spring are the best seasons for fashion, because you're not limited in what you wear because of the weather. In the summer, you just want to keep from overheating, and the winter you want to stay warm. But in the fall and spring, the mild weather makes for more flexiblity.
2) School Supplies
I know some people hate this, but I'm looking forward to buying a cute agenda, and colorful notebooks. This has been a drag in the past, but this year I'm going to try to match everything, which will make it more fun.
3) Catching Up with Friends
I've done a lot of this summer, and I even had a kind of milestone, and I'm soooo excited to share with my friends that I haven't seen all summer.
4) SENIOR YEAR BABY!!!!!
Yes, I'm officially a high school senior, and man, am I excited. A shorter school year, an all night grad party, no worries the second semester. Sure, at first I'll have college applications to fill out and stuff, but there so many other fun things.
